book:bud not buddy pages:136 summary: bud, a young boy with no guidance has been through so much but now his luck is about to change. passage page 10 paragraph 2 " todd started kicking me but his slippers couldn't hurt me near as much as his fists had. the bedroom door opened and his moither, Mrs. Amos, came in. it seemed like she was having a hard time figuring out what was going on because todd's right leg got tired from kicking me and he switched over to his right one while he watched." whi i chose this passage: i chose this passage because it shows everything bud caldwell is going through.he has been throuigh more.todd is the boy bud is living with because that is the foster home bud is living in. bud wants to do one thig, he wants to find his dad. when his mom died he believes hshe left clues so bud can no who his father is .bud thinks hes on a mission to find his father... but who is he really looking for? i liked this passage. it is sad that bud is only seven and has gone through so much.

This is a pretty good book about a boy named Bud. Bud has no home and no mother ; he wants to find Herman E Calaway who he thinks is his father. When Bud finds Herman he discovers who Herman really is.
