The focus on coin hoards and general minting information does not really give the reader a sense of what coins circulated in Roman Britain when and where. If you are looking for a book that attempts to identify the coins that were minted in Roman Britain, this is absolutely not that book. It has minimal value except to archaeologists and metal detectors.
