Review # 1 was written on 2007-08-15 00:00:00 Amy Measel I have been reading the bible in various translations since the age of six. I have learned everything I need to know to live a good life and be a person who loves my neighbor as myself (or even more than myself) It has taught me that we are all Brothers and Sisters. and no one is better than another. We are all the same, gender means nothing, color means nothing, wealth means nothing, a homeless person is every bit as good as a wealthy one. It has taught me that wealth and greed can keep a person from enjoying the next life in The Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus said it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. And I am sure he is right. Just look at what greed and wealth are doing to our society. It has taught me to repent and study to show myself approved. And that Salvation was paid for by Jesus blood for all who believe in him and follow him. But repentance is a constant thing. We should have a repentive mind at all times. Because we still sin. We have to receive forgiveness for our sins even after salvation and baptism. It has taught me to love mother earth and respect her. We were created with her, from dirt, dust, sand, and water and then the breath of God. HE is our father she is our mother. On top of all that, it has taught me to love my fellow man. All of them. And I do. I do not see color when I look at someone, I try and see the soul of who this person is from the heart. It has taught me that even the worst serial killer on earth has a heart. As bad a their sins may be, my sin is just as bad. Right is right and wrong is wrong.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-07-15 00:00:00 Will Sleeper I had fairly high expectations going into this particular review project based on what I have heard some others saying about the Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible from AMG Publishers.  I can honestly say that this Bible actually exceeded my already fairly high expectations in both content and quality.  This is not the normal Study Bible where you read someone's interpretation of most of the Scripture verses at the bottom of the page.  This Study Bible is really geared toward anyone that really wants to dive into the Word of God and study it for themselves utilizing the original Biblical languages of Hebrew and Greek rather than relying on study notes that others have done.  It takes most of the key and important words and gives you a reference for either the Strong's information or in many cases, the Strong's as well as AMG Dictionary definitions.  I really wish I had this Study Bible when I taught the class on how to do your own Inductive Bible Study a few years ago as I would have strongly recommended it to my students.  The tools used in this Study Bible may take just a small adjustment time for someone to get used to, but if you have done anything that uses Strong's-type numbers, you will feel right at home.  Quality is great, print is overall very good and nicely laid out, I would highly recommend this Study Bible.  You can get this Bible in the following translations: NASB-77, KJV, NKJV, ESV, NIV and RVR (Spanish) and many different formats for each a majority of the translations. I received a copy of this Bible in exchange for this review from AMG Publishers and all opinions are my own.
