This book gave me the viewpoint from another side. I'm Vietnamese and from our viewpoint, US attacked our country, then thanks to the support of Soviet and China, we won the war. But from the viewpoint of US, they just tried to defensed and prevented the communist party from Soviet and China. They worried that community might expand into Vietnam, so they made the commitment on Vietnam war. And from the general viewpoint, Vietnam war is just the place where US (democracy) and Soviet, China (community) showed the power. Vietnamese people were the victim of this war. After the war, US won again in the Cold War since the isolation Vietnam in economy. But anyway, both US and Vietnam suffered the war and many people died, and it is the lesson to learn that peace is so precious.

I really love these Opposing Viewpoints Series and this is one that I am really interested in. People are generally accepting in terms of the paranormal but the conflict goes out after Science is involved. One thing I love with Opposing Viewpoints is that you have all means to be true to what you believe is real. But it only depends on your opinion. Truly you cannot understand what you believe in if you don;t know why other people don't believe it.
