Review # 1 was written on 2017-01-02 00:00:00 Stacey Laxen As a fledgling philosopher, this book exposed me to opposing viewpoints. It set me on my path to think critically about many pathways to the Universe or God. At the time I began this book, I was becoming a budding Buddhist as well as deepening my experience in Jewish culture and philosophy. To aid my quest, I kept a journal of my thoughts, insights, inquires and realizations. I attest that this book assisted me in living in a better way as I started to construct my own life philosophy! A good read no matter where you're at on your spiritual path.

Advocates run the gamut from Plato to Scott Peck and include an array of philosophies from atheism to Zionism, with stops at humanism, Ayn Rand, Billy Graham, Teilhard de Chardin, Benjamin Franklin, Machiavelli and others.
