Review # 1 was written on 2015-07-18 00:00:00 Sally Schram This is one tractate of the Talmud; the longest one, in fact. All Karlin-Stoliner Chassidim are studying this, every Sabbath morning, one side of a page per week. It has 351 sides, so that's more than six years until we finish it! We are studying it so that the merit of our studying will heal a colleague of ours from a scary disease. This has worked in the past, several times. If you choose to join us, his name is Asher Alter ben Yocheved Gittel. May Hashem grant him a complete and speedy recovery! |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-08-03 00:00:00 Sam Tai Although I will never be finished reading this wonderful and wonder filling work, for the moment I am taking it off of my self of reading because I am done with the comparison I was working on from on of the prayers in the Conservative/Masorti movement siddur Sim Shalom for weekdays (Rosh Chodesh). |
