Review # 1 was written on 2020-05-15 00:00:00 Briton Bartie I met the author on a Swiss retreat with the Church of Christ. He had great humour and charisma. And he told us how he was challenged in his life and how he struggled with God because of repeating forms of suffering. His book about Hiob gives us a perspective how we can grow through hardships. I can highly recommend it for every Christian, but especially for people who do not see purpose in things that happen to them.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-04-25 00:00:00 Laura Delarato Very good read. It comes from someone who knows pain first hand and deserves five stars...but because at times the language was more scholarly made it a a more difficult reading and I gave a rating of four stars instead.
