Review # 1 was written on 2011-04-05 00:00:00 Darion Blakley This is a work that examines what os taught in the Scriptures concerning Holy Spirit. It is an intriguing, and well thought out study. I have a high respect of Dr. Cottrell. That does not mean I am convinced of all the conclusions he comes to regarding Holy Spirit. I do agree that defining Holy Spirit through experience of the senses is a faulty and slippery slope. The Scriptures must be the lens we recognize His person and work.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-08-14 00:00:00 Christopher Ishii A friend recommended reading this book which is loosely about the founder of the Christian Church/Church of Christ. I don't know enough about Alexander Campbell to know which parts of the book are fact and which are fictionalized. I did find it harder to read at the beginning but it got easier as the story established itself.
