Review # 2 was written on 2013-01-26 00:00:00 Andrew Rolston Liked it but couldn't say I loved it. Where there was good information I was surprised at how short the book was(read it in less than 20mins)and that most of it was consumed with maps. I liked how there were facts about every city and what their main source was during the gold rush but disliked the fact that there was only one picture for each. Some, I could understand why there weren't pictures (because even the foundations were hard to find) but others that still had remnants would have been nice to see before I decided whether or not to make the trip out there.
