Review # 1 was written on 2013-01-23 00:00:00 Carlos Leyequien I admit it. I'm one of those people who still has not determined the joys of anal sex. To be completely honest with you, the thought of it makes me queasy. Even in adult films, I tend to skip over the anal scenes because they're a little too much for me. (Hey, I'm a rebel, not a hoochie!). Thankfully, Thi's anal guide sort of did help ease my fears. It describes how safety is always first, which I suppose is what concerns me most. Before showing any pictures or describing anal sex positions, it is assured that one must make sure he or she is practicing safe anal sex with tons of lube, the proper condom (that won't irritate), and so on. I'm not saying I'm completely in love with anal sex now, but it's something I'd be open to, thanks to this book. I know my boyfriend's been wanting to do it for a while, so I might start off with him and prostrate stimulation, then see how I'd like it as well. Review # 2 was written on 2018-02-04 00:00:00 John Johnson "Dare... to Have Anal Sex" by Corali Tring Thi is part of the new Dare series on sexuality published by Hunter House. Like the other books in this series, it is fairly small, in this case approximately 130 pages. Personally, I didn't expect there to be enough information about anal sex out there to fill up 130 pages, but the author proved me wrong. There are chapters which include the history of anal sex, psychology, anatomy, hygiene, sex toys, only then do we get to the last four chapters which discuss how to have anal sex. This book is definitely geared towards the absolute beginner in anal sex and offers several ways to approach your partner with the possibility of having anal sex and how to perform it if they agree. There are several sketches in the book pointing out anatomy as well as many possible positions for anal sex. Might make a good gift for anyone be they gay, straight, lesbian, male, female etc.
