Review # 1 was written on 2008-09-10 00:00:00 Stephanie J Renfro I loved this book! The author of this book has great notes throughout the birth stories. The end of the book seemed to take on a (not surprisingly) negative view of VBAC when it got stories from those in the 'mainstream' medical field. Reading the stories of vbac attempts in the hospital (most where mother had to completely compromise her wishes and her and baby's safety) started my research into homebirth vbac.
