This book is very nice with lots of scrappy quilt patterns and a nice history/background of feed sacks and their usability in the past and still today. Lori Holt bought this book so I figured if she liked then I would too. Lori is a q ui lt designer and hosts the blog Bee in My Bonnet. My only problem is I have no feed sacks! I guess I need to get a new stash! You wouldn't have to use feed sacks though. These patterns are very adaptable to whatever fabric you choose.

I love the patterns and fabrics in this book. Everything was bright and colorful. I just wish they waited until page 41 to start the projects. I didn't need as much history and how to in the first part. Others may find it interesting/useful. Sugar Sack Quilts
