Review # 1 was written on 2017-10-20 00:00:00 Mark Follon I enjoy reading the books in this series with my children. The illustrations are lovely and the text is inviting using images of the items above the words reinforcing the new words. In My "V" Sound Box, Little V discovered many items including violets and velvet to put in her V box before coming up with the plan to design Valentine's Day cards for her friends. At the end of the story is a review of Little V's Word List and Other Words that start with the letter V. Finally, there are instructions for creating your own Valentine's. I would recommend this book for children who are learning about the letter V or Valentine's Day.
