Review # 1 was written on 2020-03-05 00:00:00 Jung Jin Hyuk Jung Are you looking into starting a career in the medical field? If you are, Careers in Focus: Nursing would be a great book for you. In this book, Ferguson has 25 different chapters, which talk about 25 different nursing careers. In each chapter, he gives the overview, history, what the job is about, the requirements needed to pursue each job, and so much more. I think the main message of this book is to give the readers the understanding of what each field of nursing is about, and give details about each field. I was drawn into reading this book because I want to be a Registered Nurse in my future, and this book gives me a lot of information I would need to know prior to becoming a nurse. It was so easy for me to get hooked into reading this, because I want to know more about the job of a nurse and all the different fields of nursing. I definitely think others should read this. I highly recommend anyone who is looking into becoming some sort of nurse to read this book. I think the ideal audience of this book is anyone who is in high school or college who has not yet figured out what they want to do in their future. If you are wanting to work in the medical field, and are thinking nursing, I recommend you read Careers in Focus: Nursing. |
