Review # 1 was written on 2016-04-03 00:00:00 Peter Collins Teoricamente diviso in due parti, la prima fino alla fine del confino, la seconda a partire dalla caduta di Mussolini ma è rimasta incompleta, coprendo un sesto del periodo previsto. La parte autobiografica è interessante e probabilmente buona parte dei lettori si procura il libro per quello, ma ha un suo notevole interesse anche il lato storico durante l'avvento del fascismo e la descrizione della vita in prigione e confino .

Review # 2 was written on 2016-09-05 00:00:00 Tom McQuillan "You may not be able to earn a living exclusively as a poet or writer, but if you persist, work hard and nurture your talent; it is almost guaranteed that you will earn a life." that's how the poet's handbook begins. i think it may be just a person's handbook, how to expand beyond yourself, how to seek peace, how to love nature and unify yourself with things that are real. his poetry is intense, but it keeps your attention. i loved how so many of these were written for a special occasion or to celebrate someone-- good on their own, but that much more meaningful when you imagined the context in which these words were read.
