Esto se debe a que, para ser un libro tan corto, tiene muchísimas ilustraciones. Si ya sabes algo de prehistoria China, y sobre todo, relacionado con las dinastías Shang y Zhou (y Xia?), este libro te va a contar poco nuevo. Eso sí, es interesante leerlo para ver qué se pensaba hace 30 años acerca de estos temas, y luego compararlo con libros más recientes que añaden muchos datos más gracias a las numerosas excavaciones que en China están teniendo lugar en los últimos años, y las grandes colaboraciones entre estudiosos de esta cultura tanto de Occidente, como de Oriente.
