Review # 1 was written on 2017-11-02 00:00:00 John Keefe i don't know enough about biology to be able to judge this book on its actual theory - that ribotype is as integral as phenotype and genotype, and is the repository of codes (or coded behavior), and that the existence of organic codes if thus fundamental to all life. No idea if this is so, but as someone with no knowledge of cellular biology or semiotics, i found the text accessible (tho barely) and intriguing. What i found particularly fascinating was the idea of "collective memory", and its use as an explanation for a range of things, i.e. embro development, language development, the Cambrian explosion. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-06-22 00:00:00 Dan Willie Eh. This one was okay. It was nice how Kee et al. kept it simple and introduced each category in a separate chapter (so that it's not TOO overwhelming), and then went into the details about "okay; THIS is what a nurse would need to know about this class of drug (which is basically everything about the drug). |
