However, we hear about how Christian leaders have fallen into sin, have jeopardized their ministries and have broken the trust of the people. Wayde Goodall uses biblical examples as well as secular examples to amplify and prove his points. First the author defines, ''What is success?'' Then he takes readers through recognising traps in leadership and how to avoid them diligently. One of the things that I like about this book is that it gives practical scenarios on how leaders fail and the practical approaches they can take to avoid those pitfalls. Although the title is ''Success Kills'', the author encourages readers to pursue God's plan by knowing what real success is and by guiding readers to the success that God intended for us to have. I realized that this book is not only for Christian leaders. This book is for anyone who is a leader irregardless of his or her field!

The comparisons of past and current leaders is displayed throughout the book. Breaking down the different qualities that a good leader has, is defined well in the book. The book gives a road map to success as well as the short cuts that leads to failure. I like this book because it gives Godly conviction, if followed correctly you will please God, yourself and family. The choice is yours.
