Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-30 00:00:00 Amanda Bean William Meredith is a great Americn poet. His talent is not onlyin writing poems. He loves people and is good natured. He has a genuine nterest in human lives, their everyday cares, passions, thoughts, expectations, dreams. He is really a man of devotion to friends. Know him from 1977 as a Cultural Attache of Bulgarian Embassy to the United States. He helped me discover many real genuine poets in that country. Having written my PhD in American poetry, and being a poet myself, it gives me a pleasure to translate American poetry contemporary and classical as well. Walt Whitman. Emily Dickison, Carl Sandburg, Amy Lowell, Robert Frost, Archibald MacLeish, William Meredth, Robert Lowell, Denise Levertov, John Updike, William Carlos Williams, Roland Flint, Robert Hayden, Wendell Berry, E.E.Cummings, A;;an Gisburg, :owrence Ferlingetti, Elisavetta Ritchie, David Ray, Leroy Johns, Reed Whittemore, Richard Wilbur, Barbara Golgberg, Richard Harteis are my favorite. |
