In few words and marvellous illustrations the reader can find many things depicted for each letter of the alphabet in each maritime scene. Fabulous extra information included.

A seaside alphabet is a book that goes through the entire alphabet listing words that come from the sea or the coastline. Students will learn about currents, winds, tides, islands, beaches, cliffs, and marshes. Students will be informed about how weather on the coast is unpredictable and changeable due to the effect on the sea. Two Activities for using the book 1. This is a great book to use with children who are learning about the sea. Each student in the classroom will write a sentence with a different letter in the alphabet and draw a picture with something they learned from the book. The students will make their own book for the classroom. 2. The children can find a list of things that start with that certain letter on each page. For example on the A page, the children will find animals, auburn, apples, acorns, etc.
