Review # 1 was written on 2015-06-18 00:00:00 Jean-Marc MEUNIER This book is dated in general, and some of its information about hypertension and diabetes is out of date at this point. So why would I recommend this book? This book teaches a concept that is very important. It teaches the reader how to determine if a study showing that a Health measure works for the general public will work specifically for the reader. It teaches a person how to deconstruct an article in the newspaper about a new wonder drug or supplement that is supposed to help with the disease to figure out if it applies to the reader in specific. Only by doing this can a person determine if they should invest time, money, and possible risk of side effects to investigate a treatment. That is the value of this book.
