Review # 1 was written on 2008-09-05 00:00:00 Sung Lam This book was a surprise! When I started reading the prologue, I thought "Oh, maybe this isn't for me. It's not grabbing me." But, I always try to read at least the first couple chapters of a book before I completely give up on it. By the time I had, I didn't want to put it down! WOW!! It completely sucked me in and I had to know what was going to happen next. The main antagonist, IMO, was sometimes too shallow, too twisted/evil without alot of substance, but that in no way diminished the story or the protagonist's journey. I highly recommend this book!
