Review # 1 was written on 2010-07-13 00:00:00 Ralph Martins I agree with previous reviewers that color photos would have been helpful. The drawings are charming, and were sufficient for weeds that I am more-or-less familiar with, but I'm not confident I'd be able to identify those that I was not previously familiar with. Barbara Pleasant's writing is, as always, homey and delightful to read.

Review # 2 was written on 2007-07-01 00:00:00 James P Flynn The line drawings are not the best, but the plant descriptions are generally good enough for identification. Nice that it also contains information about the plants' edible or poisonous status. Would benefit immensely from color photos.
