Review # 1 was written on 2016-04-09 00:00:00 Corey Feil An interesting resource- published in 1984, it's one of the few books of its kind from that era that I've seen that is truly sympathetic to the genre. The essays by Kay Mussell, Anne Townend, and Fallon have been quoted in other academic romance works, so it was interesting to read them as a whole. The author listings in the back are more detailed than typical for the time, making them useful as well.
