Review # 1 was written on 2010-03-05 00:00:00 Sergio Gonzalez A good addition to any muscle car library. As the title implies, covers the hot rods of the American Motors scene: AMX, Javelin, Rambler American!, Rebel, Ambassador, Matador, Hornet, Gremlin. An appendix covers all those specs. Also has chapters covering performance years and those prototype autos. Plenty of era pics and a final chapter on AMC racing, Wally Booth & Mark Donohue anyone? Trans-am, SCCA, ahh when men were men and cars were, well CARS ! |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-04-01 00:00:00 Diana Harmann This book is a good introduction to the history of curling in Canada. The author has compiled some fantastic images and some interesting stories about curling. He also looks back fondly on many of the unique curling traditions. The only problem is that the book is now beginning to feel dated. Curling is now big business and more competitive than ever. An update to show curling in the 21st century would be welcome. |
