Review # 1 was written on 2019-08-21 00:00:00 Kenneth Wennerberg A goal I have this year is to read more stories by Alaska authors, and also make sure to read a variety of voices under that umbrella. I really enjoyed this anthology, and familiarizing myself with Native Alaskan authors, playwrights, and poets. Some of their perspectives really impacted me and has helped me develop a more full understanding of Native Alaskans' world view and how white settlement and colonialism affects them today.

Review # 2 was written on 2021-01-25 00:00:00 Sylvie Malardel Truly a grab bag as others have said. A few compelling stories and a few tedious observations on troubled father relationships. At a certain point, it's "much of a muchness". This is not a book I recommend reading all the way through. Pick out a few stories, the gems, and you'll find it quite easy to discard the rest.
