Review # 1 was written on 2016-03-02 00:00:00 Omar Omarr Sorry to say I ended up with more questions than answers by reading this book. Such a complicated issue, such a worrisome situation. I do feel that I understand the roadblocks to peace more now, so maybe that makes the book worth reading. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-05-11 00:00:00 Ambet Caine Politics doesn't really appeal to me. I believe that your point of view can be shaped by those surrounding you and pressured to conform to it . However, the title of this book caught my attention( Israel opposing viewpoints) and I wanted to read it and finally come to the bottom of this Israeli- Palestinian conflict. Now it's either one of two : 1- The authors are so stupid (smart enough not to mention their names) and don't know anything. For instance not acknowledging that Jews can be Arabs. Or 2- From an Israeli point of view there is really not a substantive argument, because a- the authors are highly subjective b- the authors are not giving the whole picture for the reader to make a sound judgment. This is a waste of time , anybody with little background on the Israeli- Palestinian conflict would not fall for this book. |
