Review # 1 was written on 2018-07-12 00:00:00 Bertrand Lemoine This book is to be used if LITERATURE is your end goal and literacy or skill building is residual. IF (and that's a big IF) you are teaching one of the few texts this book covers, i'ts good to have if you're unfamiliar with the book/play, OR if you want help anticipating where students will struggle with it. Has some suggested activities for each book, chapter summaries, vocab, etc, but none of them are thematically oriented.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-01-07 00:00:00 John Menzies Not being an AP Lit teacher the poetry chapter was not useful to me. However she had good guidelines for research papers. Some of what she said about mandatory testing has certainly come true.
