Review # 1 was written on 2008-08-10 00:00:00 Daco Solidus As my grandmother was dying I learned that she found comfort in the teachings of Christian Science. More recently my partner met a older woman who generously gave us free tickets to a theatre show. When we arroved at the show I was able to meet her. She seemed to be flowing with love, especially for those less fortunate than ourselves. She gave us this book and I was earger to learn more about the teachings of the religion. The book explains much about Mary Baker Eddy's interesting life, but does less to explain her teachings. At times the chronology is confusing and parts repetitive. However the story is interesting enough that I didn't want to put the book down until I read the last page. A strong, intelligent, driven and determined woman, especially for her era, her story is worth a read.
