Review # 1 was written on 2019-10-17 00:00:00 Carlos Giha Written in 1924 on an old typewriter in a style no longer used so it reads refreshing. My favorite are his "Don'ts" to the aspiring young violinist: 1. Don't pose. 5. Don't exercise your fingers without your mind. 6. Don't clown with your violin; you can clown without it. 13. Don't aim at art for art's sake, but rather art for life's sake. 14. Don't give up--just don't.
