Review # 1 was written on 2015-10-17 00:00:00 Jim Kitts Thorough, often brutally grim (blackface! weary fieldhands!) portraits of Georgia in the 19th century. Konter's chapter introductions and captions are excellent and thorough. Great project out of the University of Georgia.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-10-09 00:00:00 Joshua Swedis Not knowing where the author gets their information. The author mentions ancient manuscripts, and writing. But never mentions which ones. I enjoyed reading the book, but I deffinatly think it could have been longer.
