Only slightly marred by his slide into the totalitarian thesis (a known factor in Mattick's politics) and redundancy if you've already read Marx & Keynes. Otherwise, as always, incredibly sound — if you've already read Marx & Keynes, it's probably safe just to extract 'The Destruction of Money,' which is the best chapter here.

Just about 1/3 of the way into this. It repeats a lot of his summary of Keynes from the "Marx & Keynes" book but, being written after 1974, I'm hoping will shed some light on the background to all that globalization/reagan/thatcher/TINA/"neo-liberalism" stuff that people talk about and the value/class/profit reasons it was preferred, almost universally, to the military Keynesianism of the preceding decades.
