Review # 1 was written on 2007-11-07 00:00:00 Beatrixo Kiddo John was a friend of my grandmother's and she had this book tucked away on one of her shelves. Being someone who enjoys travel, I borrowed it. It's an interesting read, though of a slightly... higher class of travel than I'm accustomed to.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-08-30 00:00:00 Ria Venter Excellent account of the life of Deng, with a very accurate and astute analysis of his life. IT is an early account, written while Deng was still alive in the '90 when the author started to have access to more archives and speeches by Deng released by the CPC apparatus.
