Review # 1 was written on 2019-11-02 00:00:00 Kevin Massie Really useful for beginners to music in general. The tab in this is pretty straight forward, but there is not a ton of 5th string actions (if you're looking for that). It does have "John Henry" in it, so bonus.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-06-28 00:00:00 Carlos Hurtado Really loved this book - it was engaging and full of helpful information. I would have really appreciated this book when I was back in high school and considering a degree in music performance. If you know a student(s) in that position, do them a favor and recommend they read this book! A side note: the first book in this series is also excellent and should be required reading for anyone considering a career as a teacher (not just a music teacher).
