His story is related through the voices of his family and neighbors, living without electricity, running water, phones. Farming by horse and plow through the years of drought and depression up to the start of WWII.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-10-08 00:00:00 Armando Campos Loved this book as its set in the area where great grandparents settled. Made me feel like I was a part of their lives. I enjoyed his writing style as well.
