This book explains from the vantage point of Mack Brown of how to be a successful coach in moving up for a small college up to the big-time football university programs. Besides Brown it is also co-written by Bill Little, and does not go far into the career of Brown after early 2000s. This book explains the rules coaches must follow and how to motivate your players and staff to be winners. It explains quite a bit about Brown's personal and professional past history and gives you a better idea of how he thinks on the field.

Much better than just reading for a Philosophy course. I expected this book to be dry, and put me to sleep, but instead I was intrigued. It is written in a way that I could relate to, and so better enjoy the content. By far the best required course reading I have encountered yet.
