Review # 1 was written on 2016-06-28 00:00:00 Justin Zucchiatti I borrowed this from inter-library loan. It is a terrific emergence book for apparel sewing and I want to own a copy! I get to read it some more until the end of July...so. Will make the most of m time with it. Now I must save my pennies until I can afford a used copy (6th edition is the latest). I am not sure why it is so costly, but it is so well laid out and offers so much information that I suppose it is worth it. I also would love to own a copy of Connie Crawfords book on pattern making...another once to save for! For any sewing enthusiast I think that this would be a valuable book to save a spot for!

Review # 2 was written on 2013-03-17 00:00:00 Paul Bondy Great reference book for sewists. The steps are easy to understand and the diagrams are fantastic. I often forget standard measurements (how wide should a neck facing should be, etc.) and refer to this often.
