Review # 1 was written on 2018-06-25 00:00:00 Robert Anthony The Battle of San Jacinto is exactly about that, in 49 pages. The book gives just enough information about the events leading up to this battle to understand what was going on, and then delves into the battle itself. The description of the 18-minute battle was so vivid in my mind as I read it, I felt like I was there. This book, although short, sucked me in. The icing on the cake is that the author was my history professor in college...he holds a special place in my heart. Anyone interested in Texas history will enjoy this quick read.
