Review # 1 was written on 2010-11-18 00:00:00 Joe Kuhn One of the things I like best in a book is when it gives me something to think about... and this book sure does that. It's a science fiction book I picked up at a used book sale without ever having heard of it, or even the author, from anyone else. I took it with me when I was going to be flying, figuring it was a thick book that would last through the flights. What I like best: how the book ties together a lot of ideas with a single explanation. Whether the explanation is reasonable or not, the ideas are intriguing and will be running through my head for the next few months or longer. What I liked least: the characters are not very deep. I could predict their actions nearly all of the time. Heavy on ideas, though a little light on depth of character, this book is worth tracking down.
