Review # 1 was written on 2010-01-04 00:00:00 Joseph Downey I thought it was interesting that the text was strictly biblical. I would have liked to seen more art critism to accompany the text. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-06-13 00:00:00 John Cartelli It is amazing how these authors used an anthology of the best world's literature to stimulate you in dwelling into thorny subjects. I cannot distinguish which I liked better or was more useful to me the anthology itself or how ethical dilemmas were presented, either in a realistic or unrealistic way. I recommend it for anyone who is already taking a course in ethics or just want to expand his mind. Current ethical & moral practices are changing rapidly due to the advancement in technology & such is our way of thinking & perception changes. I think that the "smoking gun of eugenics" article is a good source for how genetics pose new ethical & moral dilemmas; which is not in this book. |
