This is a pretty good book, at least as much of it as I've read so far -- I haven't read the whole thing yet. It has nice detail when explaining new concepts, great tables, well laid out. I wish it gave more answers in the back of the book, so I could check things that I'm unclear about without waiting to ask the teacher, but I understand that a) people might copy all their homework from the back* and b) there's no incentive to buy the answers manual. *If people copy their homework from the back of the book because they don't want to spend the time because they either already know the material or are foolishly not learning the material, hey, no skin off my teeth.

Not the best textbook out there. It doesn't make some things clear and in spots it seems to jump over important aspects that would increase understanding.
