Review # 1 was written on 2018-02-04 00:00:00 Debra Dufek This book left me with a lot of thoughts to bring back to my own practice. I think I want to re-read Knutsen's Tengu in relation to this book, because it seems to me that Tengu was probably an extension of the thoughts in this book (rather than a solid stand-alone text).

Review # 2 was written on 2010-08-26 00:00:00 Leland Myers heavily academic. gets bogged down in the history of small details. a gracious thing to have this sort of academic research initiated by a modern practitioner with insight into the compulsion of training.
