Review # 1 was written on 2020-09-13 00:00:00 Anne Eldridge A very out of date but densely detailed history of ancient Sumer and Akkad written by an archaeologist of the late 19th/early 20th century. It has value, but that value is limited by the caveat that new research and discoveries have overturned some of the interpretations of King's day.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-03-04 00:00:00 Michael Watson Sadly now vastly out of date. Worthy as an azademic work on the state of archaeology of the early 2oth Century.
