Review # 1 was written on 2019-01-28 00:00:00 Chris Pidgeon Social democracy inside out is clearly written and argued. Rueda draws on survey data and case studies to show how the divergent interests of labour market insiders and outsiders shape the policy decisions of social democratic parties. Rueda A’s concluding reflections on the effects of excluding outsiders’ policy interests (in better social assistance and active labour market policies) are particularly resonant twelve years after the book was first published. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-10-16 00:00:00 Clinton Miller Read the chapter "Desiring Hal", which I found interesting but written so densely I struggled to make sense of it and found some of the arguments to be a bit tenuous. |
