Review # 1 was written on 2013-12-10 00:00:00 Vincent Cavuoto I'm going to be honest and admit that I didn't read every word of this book. It's more of an encyclopedia of coat colors. I skimmed many of the entries. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-01-21 00:00:00 Lyse Mitsui I was really looking forward to reading this, as I loved studying genetics as part of my degree course and have always been fascinated by the many colours a horse's coat can be. I was sadly disappointed, mainly because I found it so hard to understand. I don't mind a challenge, but I found myself getting very lost, very quickly. I ended up skipping huge sections and just reading the off bit, while looking at the photos. Strangely, for a book on horse coat colour, these were in black and white! Maybe something I would have stuck with if still at college, but too much for the little grey cells today. |
