Review # 1 was written on 2011-09-19 00:00:00 Rick Bryan This book is a text-book, and not for everyone. But it has tremendously helped me understand and put words to my own ideology and what exactly I think and believe concerning ideological issues and why. The book essentially summarizes what are the primary ideologies present in the world, how they came to be and provides various excerpts from key leaders and thinkers within each one. It should be noted that I read the 10th Edition of the book which is not the one shown here (I think the one on Goodreads here is the 9th Edition).

Review # 2 was written on 2013-10-11 00:00:00 Mary Mckay This is a must for any political science enthusiast or just someone who wants to understand the mechanics of how a particular person thinks. It's a collection of writings consisting of everyone from Hitler to Tocqueville, with a short introduction about their psyche and particular personal ideology.
