Review # 1 was written on 2018-06-24 00:00:00 Andrew Lightheart I'm not sure how this book made its way to my bookshelf; I vaguely remember picking it up at the university library while looking for the botany section. That was about two years ago. Now I finally opened it, which moved it to my cookbook-on-trial shelf. p. 147 - 3.5 stars - Chicken-fried Steak with Cream Gravy - A basic recipe for fried meat with milk-based sauce. Tasty, fast, nothing special, what am I to do with all that oil now?

Review # 2 was written on 2019-08-06 00:00:00 Bob Dieckman Lovely photos, easy recipes, variety, easy read, not a lot of text just recipes with normal ingredients; not healthy, low fat or low carb. Bring it! I am making the chicken and dumplings for cookbook club.
