This is a unique (different from traditional books) and interesting (stories and tips) book. It's more of a coffee table type of work. The article collections ranges from topics about mind/body (diet, exercise, aging, confidence, faith), dating/mating (couples, sex, family) and dreams/ambitions (working, money matters, and doing what you love). It took me about 2-3 days to read the articles that peeked my interest such as: Love's Dilemma - love doesn't last forever and like everything else in life it goes through changes Love at Last - how it's never too late to fall madly in love & how mature love develops, feels and lasts The Very Bad Boss- what to do when you work with unpleasant/difficult people/boss in a workplace culture that doesn't align with your personal values. Martha Beck's Anti-Complain Campaign - tips on how to limit/stop with complaints/venting The Reluctant Hostess - how to host dinner parties, get-togethers, etc even if it's not the perfect time and/or condition, and letting the event unfold and flow naturally without any worries about all the small details, who will show up, etc. 8 Entirely New Ideas About Love - to go against what you were told about finding and keeping a partner such as it's ok to be very picky, you can change your spouse, etc. Surviving the Unimaginable: Oprah Talks to Christine McFadden - a mother of four whose ex-husband killed all her children. Oprah interviews McFadden and they discuss how she overcame the tragedy and learned to live again with her new husband and twin daughters. If you love reading articles and don't want to bother with long lengthy stories but rather get to the point of a story (whether self-help or Non-Fictions), this is the book for you.

This book came out in 2008, and I have leafed through it over the years, but I decided recently to read it cover to cover. It is exactly what it says - the best of the best of O Magazine - chock full of amazing stories, advice and insight on a range of topics. Although I am in Canada, and it's view and information is decidedly U.S.- based, I still loved it and gained a lot from it.
