It claims the Southern American states role in national politics grew because of the post WWII real-estate boom, agribusiness, military contractors, services/leisure (sports, travel, etc) growth industries. The capital that developed the South came relatively more from Washington than the traditional sources on Wall Street, this started during the FDR administration, and organized crime activity. The Southern cowboys introduced a culture of more brazen criminality into national politics unlike the more subtle older Yankee establishment was comfortable with. Turns into more of a biography of the downfall of Nixon.

Review # 2 was written on 2008-11-09 00:00:00 Thomas Woods Wow, this book is incredible. It comes from multi-cultural authors who write about the cultural biases in reading the epistles of paul from their home country and their foreign home/culture. Simply amazing and unique
