Review # 1 was written on 2010-02-10 00:00:00 Chris Bonds I enjoyed this. It had some natural history, early history, and history of the white man's impact on the river. There are also 2 out of 8 chapters that are about fishing that I skipped, although i did look at the photos and captions. This is much more than simply a book by a fisherman of the Deschutes and pays dividends for anyone interested in the river. There is also an excellent map of the Deschutes and its tributariesin it.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-12-12 00:00:00 Carlos Hurtado I read this book before fishing the Deschutes. The book is spot on.
